Data Analyst

Summary:  Providing data sets and data analytics based on company-wide needs and requirements.  Architects and develops data views, reports and dashboards in data tools that will enable business leaders/decision makers to have quick access to actionable data to assist on data driven business decisions.  Master Data assistance for oversight, cleanup, lifecycle and user support.  Works to enable reporting automation through tools and systems.   
 
Description of Responsibilities & Duties (including but not limited to the following) 
·         Database and data view creations for needed analytics 
·         Report architecture within BI report tools for data representation to business  
·         Data analysis 
·         Interpretation of data for business  
·         On the fly reporting and metrics as required 
·         Assisting on IT/business projects involving data structures, integrations and overall impact of data within project  
·         Assisting on data cleanup, data integrity, and data availability efforts 
·         Participation in Data Governance Committee  
 
Required Skills/Attributes: 
·         Strong understanding of relational databases 
·         Working knowledge of business intelligence tools like PowerBI / Tableau 
·         Basic Microsoft Access skills 
·         Advanced Microsoft excel skills 
·         Understanding of data governance and importance of data integrity, usability, standards, integrations in business 
·         Attention to detail – working with large volumes of data  
·         Data Analytic skills for data interpretation 
·         Report architecture – visualization of data  
·         Salesforce.com and SAP basic knowledge is a plus but not required 
·         Ability to work/communicate with peers, management, and executives 
 
Education/Experience: 
·         Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent Business or Data Education/Work history
